Faculty Information
It honors your students and is appreciated by their family members and friends when you fully participate in Commencement Weekend activities. There are two major University events during the weekend: Commencement Mass and the University Commencement Ceremony. You may also receive information from your college or department regarding additional diploma ceremonies.

Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 - times and locations

Saturday, May 16, at 5:00 p.m. (faculty assemble at 4:10 p.m. in the Joyce Center, North Dome)

University Commencement Ceremony
Sunday, May 17, at 9:00 a.m. (faculty and rectors report to the west side entrance of the Decio Faculty Hall to then enter the Hesburgh Library Mall at 7:45 a.m.)

Academic robes are required for the Commencement Mass, the University Commencement Ceremony, and the individual undergraduate college diploma ceremonies.
If you do not plan to use your own cap and gown, you can order a cap and gown rental at the bookstore as follows:
