Andrew Grose, a native of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, has been named valedictorian of the 2018 University of Notre Dame graduating class and will present the valedictory address during the 173rd University Commencement Ceremony on May 20 (Sunday) at Notre Dame Stadium.

Sister Norma Pimentel, M.J., executive director of Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley and longtime advocate for immigrants and refugees, will receive the University of Notre Dame’s 2018 Laetare Medal — the oldest and most prestigious honor given to American Catholics — at Notre Dame’s 173rd University Commencement Ceremony on May 20 (Sunday).

Brazilian Judge Sérgio Moro, a leader in his country’s anti-corruption movement, will receive an honorary degree and serve as principal speaker at the University of Notre Dame’s 173rd commencement ceremony May 20, 2018 (Sunday).
