Summer Graduation
Congratulations!! As a Summer 2026 degree candidate, you are eligible to participate in the May 2027 Commencement exercises, as long as you have not previously participated for the same degree. Please note: there is no Summer University Commencement Ceremony. You will be sent information by the first week of March for May Commencement Weekend (e.g. cap and gown rentals, commencement guest tickets, on-campus accommodations, etc.). This information will be sent to your Notre Dame email address which will remain active until 60 days after the May 2027 graduation.
Diplomas will not be automatically sent to your home address. Diplomas will be mailed to the address you provide to us in your Graduation Application. If you are on campus and are leaving the country, you can arrange to pick-up your diploma in the Office of the Registrar, 300 Grace Hall, on or after August 7. Please remember to bring a valid Photo I.D.

COMPLETE YOUR GRADUATION APPLICATION
Complete your Tassel Graduation Application. You can submit your degree, name, and hometown as they will appear in the May 2026 Commencement Program and your name as it will appear on your diploma. The deadline for submitting is July 17. After July 17, there will be a $65.00 fee assessed for changes to your diploma. The Degree Candidate Summer list will be available on July 21.
The graduation announcement is to help communicate your accomplishments with your family, friends, and others who care about you. You can order at: Jostens announcements. We will soon have a link available to Balfour Announcements, also.
Please note, "Second Degree" is only for students in a dual degree program, receiving degrees from two colleges, not a second major in another college. There are very few students who achieve a dual degree.
Also, we do not offer everything on the dropdowns, only majors, minors, concentrations, and Latin Honors. If you have additional majors, minors, or concentration than the number allowed, please contact Jostens. Congratulations!
Attention: Please email our Jostens Rep, Megan Whisler at megan.whisler@jostens.com for any concerns regarding your Notre Dame Announcements. She will assist, troubleshoot, and provide feedback to the plant regarding your 2026 order.
