Where to Eat

There are several special meals planned throughout Commencement Weekend through Notre Dame Campus Dining. These meals require the purchase of a meal ticket in advance.  The reservations for special meals and dorm room accommodations will be available at the beginning of March 2027.

Restaurants across campus will be open, including robot deliveries (except on Sunday). It is suggested that you download the GrubHub app, for easy, time-saving ordering. Visit Campus Dining for updated hours on campus eateries. Many families ask about area restaurants and dining around the city. The area offers numerous venues for family celebrations—reservations are recommended. 

Student meal plans will remain active through lunch on Friday, May 14.  

In addition to ticketed events, several departments will be offering events that may involve a lighter fare. You may want to review the full Schedule of Events to see what other activities involve your graduating student. This will be available the beginning of March.

Complimentary water refill stations will be available throughout Commencement weekend at designated locations near Notre Dame Stadium and the Joyce Center. Bottled water will be available for purchase for ceremonies located in Notre Dame Stadium, Joyce Center, and Compton Family Ice Arena. Water will also be available for purchase at various retail outlets on campus throughout the weekend.
