Faculty

It honors your students and is appreciated by their family members and friends when you fully participate in Commencement Weekend activities. I would draw your attention to the two major University events during the weekend, the Commencement Mass and the University Commencement Ceremony.

The 2009 Commencement Mass is on Saturday, May 16 at 5:00 p.m., and the University Commencement Ceremony is on Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. With the President as our Commencement speaker, seating for the event will be at a premium. Due to the required security checks at entry, I anticipate that your arrival at the Joyce Center will need to be earlier than normally scheduled.

Detailed faculty instructions for both the Mass and the University Commencement Ceremony will be sent to you by email a few days prior to Commencement.
