Ceremony Guest Tickets
*****If you missed picking up your tickets Thursday and Friday at the bookstore or Saturday in the Office of the Registrar, you may pick them up on Sunday starting at 8:00 a.m. at Gates C or E for guests. Faculty and Student tickets will be at the north entrance of the Hesburgh Library beginning at 8:00 a.m. Please bring your I.D.******
University Commencement Ceremony
Guest tickets are required for the Sunday
9 a.m. 10:00 a.m. University Commencement Ceremony at Notre Dame Stadium (see map). Guest tickets are unlimited but must be requested by the student through the Graduation Application. Graduates and Faculty also need a ticket; cap and gown are required. Please review the Prohibited Items list.
Closed circuit live broadcast of the ceremony will be available in DeBartolo Hall for those guests who would prefer not to sit outside in the Notre Dame Stadium.
Students may make adjustments at ticket distribution. Specific University Commencement Ceremony instructions will be handed out at ticket distribution. All undergraduate students will need to complete their Senior Surveys from Institutional Research, prior to ticket pick-up. We encourage you to check your email regularly and respond as requested.
Commencement tickets are scheduled to be distributed (students only with a valid I.D.) in the campus Hammes Bookstore on:
- Thursday, May 18 (10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
- Friday, May 19 (10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
- Saturday, May 20 (8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) at 300 Grace Hall
- Sunday, May 21 - Gates C or E of the Stadium beginning at 8:00 a.m.
For graduates unable to pick up tickets on Thursday or Friday, an additional ticket distribution time will be held at 300 Grace Hall (Office of the Registrar) on Saturday, May 20 from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. If you will not be on campus to pick-up your guest tickets by this time, please inform us at (574-631-7043) or email@example.com so that we can make arrangements for you to obtain your tickets over the weekend.
Tickets are not required and guests are unlimited for the diploma ceremonies. However, an RSVP is requested through the student Graduation Application. Cap and gown is required.
Students will receive their diplomas during their respective separate college/department/school ceremonies. Undergraduate ceremonies are scheduled for Sunday afternoon, May 21, after the University Commencement Ceremony. Graduate and Professional students (Law, Graduate Business, Graduate School) will receive their diplomas during their Saturday ceremonies on May 20. Students will receive additional information from their college, school, or department regarding their respective ceremonies.
Tickets are not required for the Commencement Mass on Saturday, May 20 in the Joyce Center – Purcell Pavilion. However, an RSVP is requested through the student Graduation Application. Cap and gown is required.
